That was the “Meet and Greet” of the City of Eberswalde 2026! 🤝🏗️
Around 1,300 Eberswalde residents visited us at the annual “Meet and Greet” of the City of Eberswalde at the weekend. Together with the city’s politicians, Managing Director Uwe Grünhagen welcomed the visitors with a short greeting.
Many of them took the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of our production hall and experience the production of a new harbor crane from ARDELT up close. ⚙️🔧
The ARDELT Kranbau GmbH site was deliberately chosen this year as a significant location for the citizens’ meeting. Mayor Götz Herrmann wanted to highlight an Eberswalde success story that shows what our city is all about: Industry, know-how and genuine cohesion.
Because the recent history of “crane construction” is one of crisis, courage and a new start. The management and workforce fought their way back from the threat of insolvency, won new orders and were awarded the Brandenburg Future Prize 2025 for their efforts. Today, cranes from Eberswalde are once again being shipped all over the world.
A big thank you to the team of the City of Eberswalde and to everyone who made this day so special!
