Welding Supervisor (m/f/d)

ARDELT KRANBAU GmbH is an international manufacturer of customized crane systems. Our innovative products are used in sea and inland ports, steelworks, shipyards and other transshipment centers worldwide.

To strengthen our team at the Eberswalde site, we are looking for an employee (m/f/d) in the field of welding supervision with immediate effect.

Your tasks

Your profile

  • Supervision and monitoring of in-house and external production as well as contact person for welding-related questions during production
  • Evaluation of the various welding processes for use in production
  • Examination of planned cooperation partners for welding possibilities and quality capability for task fulfillment, as well as auditing and evaluation of subcontractors
  • Planning and coordination of welder examinations and welding procedure qualifications as well as creation of welding procedure specifications (WPS)
  • Training of welders
  • Preparation of welding documentation taking into account legal regulations, technical rules, guidelines and customer specifications
  • Collaboration in quality assurance
  • Representation of the company in welding-related matters vis-à-vis third parties (acceptance organizations, customers, suppliers, etc.)

Your profile

  • Completed studies in engineering with a qualification as a welding engineer
  • Practical experience and knowledge of the relevant welding processes (135,136)
  • Experience in quality assurance or as a welding supervisor in projects
  • Secure knowledge of relevant guidelines, norms and standards
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Flexible thinking and acting
  • Communication, cooperation and teamwork skills, independent working style, ability to work under pressure, assertiveness, commitment and flexibility
